Time to tender with our talented team

Parker-Wood is set for a busy second-half of 2015. Our customers are looking for fresh ideas on how to organise and streamline their projects, especially in the fast-paced world of bids and tenders. We are responding with a whole new way of working: an online collaboration portal that will help our clients to plan, track and review every aspect of their bids or marketing projects, so they are more expertly managed than ever before.

And as our business grows, so does our team.

Bid success? It's how you collaborate

According to Simon Kearns, who is spearheading our new digital platform, the desktop-sharing and collaboration tool will revolutionise the way our clients manage their marketing campaigns, bids and tenders. It will also help Parker-Wood to inject its design, writing and strategy expertise at every point in a project cycle, from planning to post-bid, or post-campaign benchmarking.

“The new online system will provide truly unified communications across all devices and platforms,” he says. “For example, bid teams will be able to prioritise issues, assign work, track activity and collaborate on documents from any web-enabled device such as a computer, tablet or smartphone—all in one dynamic and easy-to-operate online space.

"Our new platform will give Parker-Wood clients far more flexibility and choice. They’ll be able to leave project contributors on site, if they need to, while preserving a close and collaborative environment with a sense of immediacy.”

Parker-Wood will trial and launch the new tool with our clients over the coming six months. We look forward to providing regular updates and insights.

Blogging comes of age

It’s taken a while, but blogging is finally in the ascendant as a marketing tool. For the past few years, global technology companies have been using the blogging format to actively and continuously engage with their prime target audiences, and technology evangelists. Now, increasing numbers of companies are creating informal executive blogs to enable senior managers to talk informally to industry stakeholders, the media, distributors, retailers, customers and product enthusiasts.

Parker-Wood is creating its own blog-writing service, where our in-house writers will ghost a blog for clients, to host on their company web sites. The blog will be designed to supply our clients’ key audience groups with a steady stream of facts, updates and industry gossip. We will include editorial on industry themes and speculation on industry trends to help establish the client as a thought leader. The objective: to cultivate brand allegiance and build anticipation for new products and services.
